Another very interesting aspect of our Company is that, since we are ourselves Rail fans & Model Railroaders, we take great interest in conducting Model making Hobby Workshops for the young and organise Excursions to reknowned Heritage & not so well-known Railways in India.

Rail fan Excursions:

Generally our tours are Organised over weekends or during festive holidays, from October through February. These are special tours meant for the Train lovers from all parts of the World.

Bookings for Accomodation, train rides, local site seeing and transportaion are done well in advance by us, on behalf of our guests, so that excursions are comfortable, and enjoyable experiences for all.

A small group of 8 to 10 individuals is what we usually need to start off with for any particular destination, in order to avail the concessional rates offered by Hotels and Railways, but upon request, even tours with smaller groups can be organised.

At times we also organise educational tours to Railway and Industrial Museums, these tours are generally meant for the young.

Model making & Hobby Workshops:

In order to spread the hobby and create scope for talent in India, we often undertake Model making Hobby Workshops for young people. With years of experience at model making and Hobby crafts, we take part in Exhibitions, and share our experience with the green horns to the wonderful world of Model making.

The range of crafts taught at these workshops range from making simple paper, balsa and card models of Trains, Aeroplanes, Boats etc. that require skills like designing, cutting, shaping, fitting and painting for Shool children, to constructing more advanced Garden Railway metal Models which involve machining, soldering, sheet metal work and painting for the more serious modellers.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Tour (25th-May to 3rd-June 2012) NEW

Once again we would be off to the Hills this summer to experience Steam Trains and sip Steaming cups of Darjeeling Tea. This time it would include much more Steam Trains than ever before. Like always the trip would include a ride on the famous Calcutta Trams, visits to the Indian Railway & DHR museums, travel on board the Darjeeling Mail, and the most exciting part: extensive Steam and Diesel train rides on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. We only have accomodations for 10 guests. So dont miss it.
